University of North Texas at Dallas

The only public, accredited 4-year university in the city of Dallas, the University of North Texas at Dallas was founded in 2010 with the mission of providing students in urban Dallas communities with an affordable pathway to a college degree and socioeconomic mobility and was an early and key partner in the Dallas County Promise.  To drive enrollment activity, direct from high schools and via the transfer pipeline, the EMS team has long supported UNT Dallas in leveraging new learner record technologies to more powerfully serve students. From the student’s perspective, the UNT Dallas team sums up the power of the learner record technology in three easy points, “No Forms, No Fees, No Frustration.”  The platform not only saves students time and money — up to an estimated $4,500 in transcript fees — it also translates to time savings for staff.  UNT Dallas also pioneered the Enrollment Fast Pass, significantly simplifying and removing barriers in the college enrollment process, and recently, has been using the GreenLight Marketplace platform, mining thousands of student credentials to engage with and recruit potential students.  Now, the team is looking to utilize the technologies for scholarship matching and virtual job fairs, linking students with potential employers in Dallas, one of the largest job markets in the country.
