Crowley ISD

On October 4, 2023, Crowley Independent School District College, Career and Military Readiness (CCMR) leaders gathered with Dr. Tonni Grant of Economic Mobility Systems (EMS) to strategize and plan for implementation of new tools to support CCMR outcomes and student impact district wide.

Led by Interim Executive Director of Counseling Services and CCMR, Trina Lane, the cross-functional CCMR district leaders came together to discuss district goals, technical implementation, data operationalization and usage. With the adoption of EMS’ Salesforce-powered tools and visualizations with the implementation of College and Career Solutions, powered by Salesforce technology, the team will execute on their strategy to improve CCMR outcomes through personalized case management. This will also enable real time automated data and powerful new data visualizations. The team is guided by strong leadership and a vision with the Tarrant To and Through Partnership (T3) to build on prior success that will set up Crowley ISD up an exemplar in realizing life-changing impact for students, a continuum of support from middle school through higher education and training into good regional jobs.

Dr. Grant guided the team through monthly, quarterly, and annual and three-year processes and plans that required shared ownership and tight coordination with district and campus leadership. Crowley ISD joins the non-profit College and Career Solutions Network with other school districts like Arlington ISD, Grand Prairie ISD, and Dallas ISD to personalize college and career success for all students while learning together in a low-cost high impact community of practice. The partnership will last for three years with the ultimate goal of enabling long-term sustainability. Crowley ISD will continue to be closely supported by EMS College and Career Solutions (CCS) staff including Dr. Grant and Ms. Cornelia McCowan, M.Ed., Manager, to help navigate various state legislative requirements with just-in-time action intervention plans.

As a powerful indication of the team’s commitment to students, District Superintendent, Michael McFarland, closed the event by reminding the team of their shared laser focus on impact above all else. As Dr. Grant noted, everything EMS does is built on this sentiment, thus strengthening the partnership between EMS, Crowley ISD, and the Tarrant To and Through Partnership.
